I met the lovely Curls & Mo recently and sent her the whole Nothing But line to try. Her favorite? Nothing But Clarifying Shampoo!
As always, I washed my hair in four sections. I applied the shampoo to each individual section, rinsed it, applied again, rinsed then added my conditioner. The shampoo worked into a really good lather and rinsed out nicely. My hair was clean but not stripped which I LOVE. It didn’t leave the “squeaky” feeling other clarifiers leave. I liked that because my hair didn’t feel like straw after I washed it.
And the cons? None!

What an amazing review from the Style & Beauty Doctor! She loves Curl Sealer – see an excerpt from her blog below, and read the whole thing here!
I was all excited but knew I had to try it on my whole head so once I took the weave out, I gave it a whirl and it was all like WHY HAVEN’T I KNOWN ABOUT THIS BEFORE??? I like to use it after applying a leave-in conditioner and then I’ll take a dollop of Curl Sealer and massage it all over. And again, my hair is all hydrated and soft and unlike the painfully dry way it can get sometimes.
How do you show your natural hair pride? Del Sandeen of About.com’s Black Hair section sported her “I’m Nothing But Natural” T-shirt recently!

What’s your take?
A few months ago, Nothing But gave away a fabulous trip to Taste of Soul in LA! The event was just a few weeks ago – winner Keisha Cave shared photos and her experience at her personal consultation and appointment with the illustrious natural-hair celebrity stylist Felicia Leatherwood. She flew from Tampa to Los Angeles and had the time of her life!
In her own words:
“I don’t know where to start. I am still very much in shock that I won the trip to begin with. Whoever it was that pulled my name, I am so grateful. I was really overdue for a vacation. I loved Felicia Leatherwood, she was super nice and down to earth….good people if I must say. I have been using the Nothing But product line on a regular [basis] for myself and my daughter and I LOVE the products. Words can’t express how pleased and happy I was with the trip.”
I love love love that Felicia donned her own Nothing But t-shirt for the occasion, too! Felicia also told me she wore it during her recent trip to Nigeria. Spreading the natural hair love worldwide!
